How to get High Page Rank Backlinks
It’s no secret we all want higher pagerank backlinks. Surprisingly, many webmasters still undervalue their true worth and ability to expedite the ranking process and securely balance ones rankings (often times weak links tend to get devalued, causing your website rankings to fluctuate sporadically.)
This guide will go over 2 main ways of obtaining unlimited high pagerank backlinks. One method is “free”, while the other is paid. Within each major method are subsets, but are ancillary to the major methods described below.
Free! With anything “free” comes the cost of time and special knowledge in order to execute the mission. GET more backlinks!
Method 1: Free
Reverse Engineering Competitor’s backlinks, Filtering them by Pagerank and Cherry Picking:
Do you have competitors or know of a website that actively builds links or perhapsbuying backlinks? (If you don’t I’ll show how to later in this article). The trick is finding one that specifically goes after the types of links that we can also obtain. Usually this means commenting on blogs, articles, image sites, and on the first page of many forum threads (with a signature backlink). In order to start harvesting a websites links we will want to use Yahoo Site Explorer for this. Granted, other tools exist, but YSE is a very accurate display of a websites total inbound links (people linking to their website). Now, with YSE you can see a good portion of a websites link portfolio, but they could have thousands and thousands of links, and we’re only interested in the ones with juice – aka PR.
SEOquake is a firefox addon that can sort all the YSE results by Pagerank. It’s important to turn off other preferences within seoquake, as they won’t be necessary for this task (and slow things down). So you have entered examplecompetitor into YSE, clicked on “Inlinks” and then activated SEO Quake. You can then hit the down arrow to sort highest to lowest.
Now comes the Cherry Picking part. Once filtered, you can go through and easily tell which links will allow you to leave a link of your own. This means ones such as blogs, forums, or articles. Usually homepages don’t allow people to add links, so skip those sites. We are looking for inner pages with pagerank, that are still open to the public.
Sometimes you can find dozens of high pagerank websites to add your link within an hour, while others it can take hours just to find one. The key here is analyzing someone’s links that include blog comments, article comments, and things of this nature for backlinks. The best method is to find a blog with hundreds of comments on it, and keep an excel sheet of all the people who commented, and whether or not you filtered their backlinks yet. In time you will find more and more higher quality commentors, and the list becomes more powerful. In order to start you could Google search "thanks for the great post" inurl:blog as this search will bring up sites where someone has obviously commented for a backlink on a blog.
Indexing These Links – Make them count!: If you blog comment feverishly over a long weekend or incorporate it into daily tasks, you’re going to get a lot of volume, which is great. Let’s face facts though; if a blog is 4 years old and has 1000 comments on it, you’re going to need to tell Google something is new here, otherwise it could take months to get picked up. Method 2: Paid
The above technique can be extremely frustrating and bear little to no results when you are first starting out. Luckily if you have more $$ than time, there is a “better” way to get high pagerank backlinks. The two main subcomponents of this are: Blogroll/Sitewide/Footer Links and Homepage Contextual Backlinks.
Blogroll/Sitewide/Footer Links are the common sellers in the field of high pagerank backlinks. The reason is simple; it’s very difficult to get inner pages with pagerank, therefore links must be placed on the homepage/entire site to get the benefit of the link juice. They are typically “rented” links; they will be removed once the time period you paid for is up. Some are “permanent” which means they are never removed, but most webmasters realize this is a scam, and should be avoided at all costs (the site could get redirected/parked/sold in which case the premium you paid for a “permanent” backlink is lost.
Things to consider – webmasters will often sell “fake pagerank” links, which means the pagerank was simply redirected from another site. Example: example.net has 5000 links whereas example.com has none. Example.net is redirected by the webmaster to example.com in order to temporarily bolster its Page rank. Webmaster then sells links on example.com, takes off the redirect and seller is screwed. For this reason it’s best to use checkpagerank.net before purchasing rented links.
Homepage Contextual Backlinks are typically rented links as well, but because it is straight forward, there is less discrepancy of a quality link, and how much to pay for it. Typically webmasters will buy multiple high pagerank domains that were expired. They will then put content on these websites and add your links, so you can have links coming from PR 1-6 typically. The price of these domains ranges and can easily cost $4000 for a PR 6 with good backlinks.
